The Alliance of Human Services Welcomes Lisa Pugliese as New Executive Director
Grayslake, IL –The Alliance of Human Services (AHS) is proud to announce the appointment of Lisa Pugliese as its new Executive Director, effective February 3, 2025. A dedicated public servant and lifelong resident of Lake County, Lisa brings extensive experience and a passion for driving meaningful change to her new role. Lisa Pugliese has devoted her career to the public service sector in Lake County, with over 15 years of experience as an Executive Director in the nonprofit affordable housing space. Her background also includes roles in local government, such as serving as Director of Community Development for the Village of Round Lake Beach, a commissioner for the Grayslake Planning Commission and Zoning Board of Appeals, and a member of the Lake County Affordable Housing Commission. Lisa’s leadership is grounded in a philosophy of servant leadership and an inclusive, collaborative style that unites stakeholders to address significant community needs and create viable solutions. She possesses a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals, families, and the nonprofit workers striving to support them, and she is committed to fostering partnerships that drive positive outcomes for Lake County.

Lisa lives in Grayslake with her husband, Jim, and their two cats. Together, they have five children and three grandchildren. Outside of her professional life, Lisa enjoys collaborating with community colleagues and volunteers to launch initiatives that promote the common good. Under Lisa’s leadership, AHS looks forward to continuing its vital work of strengthening Lake County’s nonprofit sector and fostering collaboration to address the community’s most pressing needs. She will also work closely with the Board to ensure that all goals and objectives of the strategic plan continue to move forward.
