Member Coffee Recap

On October 25, Alliance members gathered at Anam Cara Cafe in Libertyville for our latest Alliance Member Coffee, combining networking with a unique collaborative opportunity with the College of Lake County (CLC). This event brought members together to connect, share resources, and participate in shaping the future of Lake County through CLC’s Strategic Planning Process.

The College is progressing through a structured timeline to develop its strategic plan, closing input sessions for the community, workforce, and students by December 2024. Following this, employee feedback sessions will be held, leading to a preliminary draft by the end of February 2025. A college-wide validation process, including a Board review, will take place from March to May 2025.

We look forward to seeing everyone at our next gathering and continuing to foster community-driven solutions and connections across Lake County! Thank you to our host! We are grateful to Anam Cara Cafe for generously hosting the event and waiving the rental fee. Members were encouraged to support the cafe by purchasing refreshments during the program.
