Overivew
Our organization has a unique opportunity with the College of Lake County (CLC) that will reshape our upcoming Alliance Member Coffee. CLC recognizes the Alliance as a leader in understanding community needs and has invited our members to participate in their Strategic Planning Process.

Through this partnership, we are offering a unique opportunity to integrate the CLC Strategic Planning Process into our upcoming Member Coffee. The event will begin with our usual networking session for all members and representatives during the first half hour, followed by Strategic Planning Activities from 9:00-10:00 a.m. For the Strategic Planning session, we ask each organization to designate one representative to attend, as we aim to include as many organizational voices as possible in this process.

Schedule
8:30 - 9:00 a.m. | Networking
9:00 - 10:00 a.m. | CLC Strategic Planning and Futures Thinking Approach
Group Activities*
*To ensure that we maximize the participation of as many organizational members as possible, we ask that each organization designate only one representative to attend this segment, as we would like to have as many organizational voices represented to the College in this process.

Program
Staff from the Strategic Advancement unit of CLC will lead an input session to help inform the upcoming refresh of CLC’s strategic plan.

Format for this roundtable session:

  • Brief overview of CLC data

  • Overview of Futures Thinking philosophy and interactive activity

  • Strategic plan input with guided questions

CLC looks forward to gathering insights from members of the Alliance for Human Services.

Thank you to our host!
We are grateful to Anam Cara Cafe for graciously hosting us and waiving the rental fee for this event. To show our thanks, we encourage everyone to support their business by purchasing a drink or snack during the meeting.
